Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Wirral Wildlife Landscaping LTD! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the landscaping services we provide, including ponds, swimming ponds, water features, and all aspects of landscaping. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our site or services.
1. Our Services
We design, install, and maintain ponds, swimming ponds, water features, and other landscaping projects. After an initial consultation, we’ll provide a written quote or contract detailing the project scope, timeline, and cost. These terms apply alongside any project-specific agreement.
2. Booking and Payments
- How It Works: Request a consultation or service through our website, phone, or email. We’ll confirm details and provide a quote.
- Payment Terms: We require a deposit upfront to secure your project, with the remainder due upon completion. Exact amounts will be in your quote. Payments are by bank transfer only.
- Deposits: The deposit is non-refundable unless serious circumstances prevent us from starting work (e.g., we can’t obtain materials or permits due to no fault of yours). We’ll decide this on a case-by-case basis.
3. Cancellations
- If You Cancel: You can cancel anytime before we finish, but the deposit is non-refundable. You’ll also owe us for any work completed up to that point, based on time and materials used. We’ll provide an invoice for this.
- If We Cancel: If we can’t complete the project (e.g., due to supply issues or weather beyond our control), we’ll refund your deposit or reschedule, depending on the situation.
4. Your Responsibilities
To get the job done, we need:
- Clear access to your property.
- A safe work area (e.g., no loose pets or kids in the way).
- Any permits required by local laws (we can advise, but securing them is on you).
After we’re done, you’re responsible for maintaining your pond, water feature, or landscaping unless you’ve booked our maintenance services.
5. Project Risks
We’ll do our best, but some things are out of our hands—like weather delays, tricky soil conditions, or damage from misuse after we leave. We’re not liable for natural wear or issues from lack of care unless we’ve agreed to maintain it.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
- Our Work: All projects are completed “as is.” If there’s a defect in our workmanship (e.g., a leak we caused), we’ll fix it within a reasonable time after you let us know.
- Materials: Any guarantees on plants, stones, pumps, or other materials come from the supplier, not us. We’ll pass along their warranty info if applicable.
7. Safety and Liability
- During Work: We’ll take reasonable care to keep your property safe while we’re there. Please keep people and pets away from the work zone.
- After Completion: We’re not responsible for injuries or damage from your use of the finished project—like if someone falls into a pond due to lack of supervision.
8. Website Use
Our website is for browsing, learning about us, and contacting us. Don’t misuse it (e.g., spam our forms or steal our content). We can block anyone who breaks the rules.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, photos, and content on our site or in our quotes belong to Wirral Wildlife Landscaping LTD. You can’t copy or reuse them without our permission. Your finished project is yours to enjoy, but the design stays ours.
10. Local Regulations
Some areas have rules about ponds or water features (e.g., depth limits, fencing). It’s your job to follow them. We can guide you, but compliance is your responsibility.
11. Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and follow UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR. Here’s how we handle your info:
- What We Collect: We may collect your name, address, phone number, email, and project details when you contact us, request a quote, or book a service.
- Why We Use It: We use this info to provide our services—getting in touch, arranging consultations, doing the work, and sending invoices. We might also use it to follow up about future maintenance or projects if you’re okay with that.
- How We Store It: Your details are kept secure on our systems, only accessible to our team. We don’t store payment info—just process bank transfers as needed.
- Sharing: We don’t sell or share your info with anyone unless it’s necessary for the job (e.g., a supplier needs your address for delivery) or required by law.
- Your Rights: You can ask to see, update, or delete your info anytime—just email us. If you want us to stop contacting you, let us know.
- How Long We Keep It: We hold onto your details for as long as we’re working with you, plus a bit after (up to 6 years) for legal or tax reasons.

We can update these terms anytime. The new version takes effect once posted here. Check back before booking new work to stay in the loop.
